The Montreal Canadiens will look to stave off elimination from the Stanley Cup playoffs tonight when they host the Boston Bruins in Game 6 of their second-round Eastern Conference Series. Ronnie Lott Raiders Jersey . The Bruins lead the series 3-2 and are trying to advance to the Conference Final for the second consecutive year. The action can be heard on TSN Radio 690 and TSN.ca/Montreal at 7:30pm et/4:30pm pt. The Canadiens find themselves facing elimination for the first time in these playoffs thanks to a 4-2 loss in Boston on Saturday. Reilly Smith and Jarome Iginla both scored power play goals while Carl Soderberg and Loui Eriksson added even strength markers for the Bruins, who moved a step closer to defending their Eastern Conference crown with the victory. The power play goals broke an 0-for-10 stretch the Bruins were on in the series that also dated back to an 0-for-39 post-season stretch against the Canadiens since Game 2 of their 2009 first-round series. "We expect that we are going to have to play our best game yet," said Iginla. "We know that they are going to try to use their crowd, and we are most likely going to need our best game of the series." Canadiens goaltender Carey Price, who made 26 saves in the Game 5 loss, believes his team will be ready to play in front of their home crowd. "You back any animal into a corner, its going to be desperate," said Price. "I think were going to be a desperate hockey club coming into next game and I think were excited for the challenge." The Bruins also did their best to get under the Canadiens skin in Game 5. Forward Shawn Thornton was fined $2,820.52 by the league for skirting water on Canadiens defenceman P.K. Subban from the bench. The fine is the maximum allowed under the collective bargaining agreement. For his part, Bruins head coach Claude Julien said that he did not approve of Thorntons actions while Subban on the other hand was not interested in being drawn into any controversy on the matter. "I dont need you guys to make it a big deal out of it," said Subban. "It is one of those irritating things when youre down 4-2. They beat us, thats not the reason why we lost. Its just one of those things that frustrates you even more towards the end of the game." The Canadiens are 3-1 at the Bell Centre after winning both games against the Tampa Bay Lightning and taking Game 3 in this series. Their only home defeat so far in these playoffs is a 1-0 overtime loss in Game 4 to the Bruins. Defenceman Nathan Beaulieu took part in practice this morning and later left with the regulars. He will be in thelineup this evening. Forward Daniel Briere, who was scratched on Saturday night, will also be back. Karl Joseph Raiders Jersey . Linemates Ryan Johansen and Boone Jenner each had a goal and an assist in the first period, and Sergei Bobrovsky made 36 saves to lead the Blue Jackets past the Florida Panthers 4-1 on Saturday night. Justin Ellis Raiders Jersey . Jovanovski, the 2012 champ seeded fifth, will meet surprise Japanese qualifier Misa Eguchi on Friday. Eguchi, ranked 183rd, qualified for her first WTA main draw this week, then beat No. http://www.authenticraidersteamproshop.com/Youth-Jihad-Ward-Elite-Jersey/ . Raonic, the No. 8 seed from Thornhill, Ont., had 18 aces in the match. He needed one hour 39 minutes to complete the victory. After losing their last two series, the Toronto Blue Jays will try to claim their weekend set with the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field on Saturday afternoon. Drew Hutchinson will take the mound for the visitors in the second contest of the three-game series. He has been solid for the Blue Jays this season, boasting a 3.86 ERA with 93 strikeouts to just 33 walks, but he has just a 6-7 record to show for it. Hutchinson has lost three of his last four starts, including on July 6 when he allowed eight hits and three earned runs in 5 2/3 innings of work against the Athletics. Despite allowing 10 hits, seven walks and five earned runs in 5 1/3 innings against Tampa Bay this season, Hutchinson is 2-0 against the AL East rivals. With David Price battling illness, Jake Odorizzi will move up a day to start against the Blue Jays. Tampa Bay is hoping Price will be well enough to pitch Sundays finale. The right-handed Odorizzi had a two-decision winning streak halted on Monday with a 6-0 loss to Kansas City. He yielded only two runs over six innings however, striking out eight batters while falling to 4-8 with a 4.10 ERA on the season. Odorizzi will make just the second start of his career versus the Blue Jays, getting a no-decision against them prior after allowing three runs over five innings. The Blue Jays captured a victory in thrilling fashion on Friday night. With the game tied at 5-5 in the ninth, Steve Tolleson, a late replacement forr the injured Munenori Kawasaki, put Toronto up with a two-run single. Kenny Stabler Raiders Jersey. Jose Bautista added an RBI single of his own, and Casey Janssen closed the door in the ninth for his 14th save to lift the road team to an 8-5 win. "We needed that one," Toronto manager John Gibbons said. "The way things have been going then to blow a comfortable lead, (losing) would have been tough." Jose Reyes collected three hits out of the leadoff spot to go with two runs scored and two RBI. Bautista had two RBI to give him 54 on the season. Aaron Loup (3-2) earned the win in relief after starter Mark Buehrle went five innings allowing nine hits and two earned runs. "Im frustrated with myself," said Buehrle, an AL All Star. "To go five innings, thats not really called for. I need to go deeper into games to give us a chance to win." Chris Archer was bailed out of a poor start for Tampa Bay, leaving after five innings with a no-decision after surrendering six hits, three walks and five runs. Grant Balfour (0-3) yielded five base runners in just a third of an inning in the loss. Sean Rodriguez belted a three-run homer, his ninth of the year, to tie the game in the seventh inning. Ben Zobrist, Logan Forsythe and Brandon Guyer all added two hits in the losing effort. Toronto has won four in a row versus Tampa Bay and six of eight in the season series.
